Homosexuality   

Homosexuality, sexual attraction to a person of the same sex, is one form of sexual orientation. The others are bisexuality—attraction to both sexes—and heterosexuality—attraction to the opposite sex. Homosexual men are often referred to as "gay" and homosexual women as "lesbian." The subject of homosexuality has often been surrounded by controversy. Much of the dispute centers on whether homosexuality and bisexuality should be treated as morally, socially, and legally equivalent to heterosexuality.
