Abortion
Giuliani supports abortion rights along with parental notification laws for minors.  He also supports a ban on "partial birth" abortion unless the mother's life is at risk. Adoptions increased 66% while abortions decreased over 16% in New York City when he was mayor.
Rudy Giuliani's Political Biography

    1970: Joined the office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

    1981-1983: Named associate attorney general, the third highest position in the Department of Justice.

    1983-1989: Appointed U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

    1989: Resigned as U.S. Attorney; made first run for mayor of New York City. Lost to David Dinkins.

    1993: Defeated Dinkins to become first Republican mayor of New York in 24 years.

    1997: Re-elected by a wide margin, carrying four out of New York City's five boroughs.

    May 19, 2000: Announced he would drop out of the race for the U.S. Senate.

    2001: Praised for response to the September 11 attacks; named Time magazine's Person of the Year and honored as a Knight Commander of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II.

    2002: Left the mayor's office.
